byGanz Extraordinaire & Astral Element team up to create SARAAB in the heart of the Red Sea mountains of Il Monte Galala
SARAAB is a one of a kind electronic festival held by the majestic mountains of the red sea with a killer sea view and some of the biggest names in the electronic industry playing back to back.
With a lineup that included Maceo Plex, Âme live, Gerd Janson, Maher Daniel, Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough and Salomé Le Chat as well as local heroes, Misty, Chaiti Live, Youssef Samy and Mazen Hamdy spanning their performances over two stages; SARAAB’s location was truly magical!
Our marketplace also included vendors such as Mcdonalds as well as several jewelry and clothes vendors and a techno and chill zone for party-goers to rest mid-party.
Located in Il Monte Galala, the top-notch destination was the ideal location for the event due to its raw natural beauty and space. The spacious and versatile venue had a killer view of the mountains and the sea and was located only an hour away from Cairo.
SETUP
Built in the midst of the mountains, SARAAB was created to simulate a mirage and provide a place of deep connection to the music and surrounding nature.
Built around the high-rope obstacle course of basecamp, Il Monte Galala; the venue simulated an alien like structure with the UFO style orbit, the metal structures and the mountain projects to transform you to another realm.
DJS & CROWD
A lineup of 11 days performing over our 3 stages; the orbit, the portal and the marketplace, wowed our guests with an incredible lineup of sets that got everyone dancing until 6 am!
Starting with our portal stage, we had Chiati live, Maie, Eclair Fifi, Salomé le chat and gerd janson to kickstart the day over a period of 7 hours playing back to back! our guests were then ushered to the Orbit stage where they were impressed by our 5 meter flying orbit above them with an incredible show of lights!
Playing on our Orbit stage was Maher Daniel, Âme live, Maceo plex, Mano Le tough and a surpsie ending to the night by Misty!
The marketplace was the place where guests can connect, recharge and reenergize! With a Mcdonalds shack and Gringos for delicious Mexican food, guests got to recharge with appetizing burgers and tacos as well as check out our clothes and accessories vendors!
With a techno and chill bean bag chill zone, guests could also unwind and relax as they recharge for the next set!
